Task 1 LO2- Generation of funding and personnel

Crowdfunding platforms like ( https://www.kickstarter.com/ ) are allowing creative users to gain funding to start projects that they would never be able to do previously.

Examples of kick starter campaigns:

Sound of his horn is a film that has been crowdfunded by kickstarter. The pledged goal was £5000 and they managed to raise £5750.

Leather travel shoes that don't fold or crease is a project that can be seen on kickstarter and has a pledged goal of £10,000. It has currently reached 108,940.

Finally, 

Crowdsourcing is a sourcing model in which individuals or organisations obtain personnel for projects and to collaborate on projects. An example of this is LinkedIn.

Freedom of speech versus inciting hate speech is where you are free to have an opinion  Role of regulatory bodies- Independent Press Standards Organisation IPSO, Ofcom in production of online content. Explain why personnel should be mindful of what they put on social media?

Personnel should be mindful about what they put on social media as it can result in the person losing their job if they harshly criticise the company they work for or the job they do. This is the case for Kaitlyn Walls as she posted on Facebook that she hates being around kids and hated her job role as a employee in a day care centre.
